Destinations for Mid-Michigan
Bay City Convention Center & Visitors Bureau
Our forefathers knew what they were doing when they decided to settle here along the shores of Michigan’s Great Bay. The streams, rivers and Bay were a plentiful source of fish and an efficient means of transporting people and goods. Lush forests provided ample lumber for the building of homes and industries. Fertile soil produced bountiful harvests to feed the growing population. Our lives continue to be nourished by the water that surrounds us. We are inspired by our history and enthusiastic about our future. 21st century Bay City is a living testament to the vision, creativity and hard work of the pioneering people who lived, worked and played here. Our lives are enriched every day by their legacy. Yours will be, too. Visit often and experience for yourself the ingenuity and creativity that constantly reinvent our riverfront town. Welcome to Bay City and “A beautiful view…of life.”

Forest Dunes Golf Club
There is a purity of both design and experience that resides at only a few modern golf clubs. Here, designer Tom Weiskopf has stamped, very lightly, the imprint of golf on the wilderness beauty of Northern Michigan's Huron National Forest. The result- Forest Dunes stands out as a remarkable natural gift to players and residents.rrOnly North America's Great Lakes region could produce the sand dunes, pine forests, birch groves and grasslands that authenticate the name Forest Dunes. Our Tom Weiskopf Signature Course design is a brilliant homage to golf at its purest.
